A super top place for pizza slices! It isn't the easiest spot to get to, but if you're in Williamsburg, it is a really great place to check out, especially with friends. Their menu is only so big, and the staff can cut your pizzas in half so it's easy to share. We tried the margherita, Burrata with prosciutto, and fig and bacon. My favorite was the burrata and I definitely think including prosciutto is a must for added flavor! the texture of the burrata was great and added a burst of creaminess and thickness to the pizza. Margherita was also great, but wasn't wowed by the bacon and fig unfortunately (though other reviews really called it out)! The prices could get a little steep, but I think Magherita and the burrata with prosciutto were really worth the upcharge. There was a decent line despite it being 4 pm in the afternoon (maybe 20 minutes of wait time), and only outdoor seating without fans, so ran hot as we were eating the pizza. Experience itself wasn't great but you're really coming for the pizza.

i finally understand the hype. new yorkers, locals, food critics, and everyone alike seem to rave for this pizzeria joint - "you can't leave new york without trying this place," my friend even mentioned. we visited on a weekend around 3pm, expecting to avoid the lunch rush, but with a place that recognized, it's difficult to avoid the crowds. the entire process moves quickly: you queue, you order & pay, you wait, and they call your name with your order. there's a few tables outside to enjoy the pizza too - and it's recommended to eat as soon as you get it! we ordered 2 slices of the wild fig & bacon, 1 margherita, and 1 burrata. these are all their top-selling items. wild fig & bacon was the star of the show for me. never have i ever tasted a pizza that successfully combined sweet with savory in a delectable manner. i'm not even sure ive tried fig before, but you have to be borderline genius to come with and execute on this crazy combination. i'm not sure i can go back to eating regular pizza after experiencing this delight.

I've seen L'industrie featured on several platforms deeming it as the quintessential New York City slice. I was violently craving a NY slice on a weekday night and this was the perfect time to grab one. There was a bit of a queue when we got there, but nothing past the end of the block (mind you, this is the second store from the corner). The line wraps around one more time inside, but it moves pretty quickly. I don't think we waited past 15 minutes, which gave us ample time to peruse the menu displayed outside of the window. We already knew we were gonna get the burrata slice, because it's one of their more popular items. The other two slices we decided on were the tartufo and parma slice. Pizza slices were great; they were thin with perfect amount of cheese, sauce and topping and held up well on a crispy crust. No surprise that the burrata was my favorite, but the tartufo came pretty close to it. Honestly can't go wrong with these any of these slices. We really wanted to try their sorbetto or gelato, but unfortunately their machine was down that day. Instead we got a frozen spritz, which was just as refreshing on a summer evening. Loved the overall atmosphere around here! There's no indoor seating, but there's an outdoor seating area with tables you can grab on your own. If all fails, the area is nice to walk around with a slice of pizza and frozen spritz.

Food: 5/5 | Service: 4.5/5 | Experience: 4/5 There's is most usually a line that goes by decently quickly. I would say to order the more unique slices here just because other "classic" flavors you could get elsewhere without the wait and for it to be really good as well. Note: These slices are not cheap (~$5-$6) and you probably want to order 3 for a "meal". I ordered a slice each of tartufo, pepperoni, burrata, margherita, fig jam & bacon, Mike's hot honey. My favorites were the tartufo, where the mushroom and truffle flavor really shone, the fig jam and bacon, where the slice was sweet yet salty from the bacon, and the margherita. All of the slices were perfectly crispy on the outside and thin, while holding most of its shape. I did wish the Mike's hot honey slice had more "hotness" to the honey, and I'm not quite sure I liked the burrata slice that much.

Amazing!! Loved it! Totally matches the hype! We got the burrata, tartufo and white pizza and were blown away! Dough was some of the best we have had! Must also try their olive oil gelato!

Line out the door to get pizza on a Saturday afternoon. We had to go through a kind of rough area to make it here. It was definitely worth the visit. Pizza had a crispy bottom but still managed to have some flop and some grease that complimented it. We had a pepperoni and a L'industrie slice. The server/greeter was really helpful determining the best things to try on a first visit. The food itself was as advertised: affordable, well-portioned, and delicious. The L'industrie wasn't for me, but I can definitely see the appeal. While at first glance there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for the process of getting food to customers, its actually surprisingly efficient. The inside could use a little bit of a face-lift, as it's hard to seat the masses that make their way into the queue-less building. Customers have to hug the wall and work their way back to the register, so to prevent an honor system, they limit the people that can go in at a time. It works. For now.

L'industrie is on so many lists for best pizza in the city and I can confirm that it 100% lives up to all of the hype. I knew from the very first bite that this was amazing. The crust is perfect. The burrata is super fresh, the cheese is such high quality. The fig jam and bacon is easily my favorite out of everything I've had and then next the burrata slice. Even if there is a line you get in and our very quickly! Service is amazing!

Despite how popular this spot is, L'industrie is easily one of my favorite pizza spots in NY. Whenever someone comes visit, I always recommend this spot. This location also has some seating in their outdoor patio. My friend and I were hungry, so we ordered 6 different slices (in which they ended up giving us an extra free one, yay!). We got the Fig Jam & Bacon ($6), Margherita ($4), Burrata ($5.50), Tartufo ($5.50), L'industrie ($7.50), and Hot Honey ($6) slices. My favorite is definitely the fig jam and bacon giving it a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The burrata is also amazing here and is added on many of the slices that just give this nice creaminess on the pizza. Seriously love the slices here! In addition, don't forget to order the Olive Oil Soft Serve as well. It's a tiny cup, but the perfect ending to the meal. The olive oil flavor truly shines as it's infused and drizzled into the soft serve. We also enjoyed the meal with a Frozen Aperol Spritz, which was delicious and refreshing. If you've going to have one slice in NY, come to L'industrie. Even if it's busy, they go by quick and it's worth it!

Yes there's a line, but it's worth it. I'm sure there are plenty of pizza spots nearby worthy of praise, but I am super glad we went with this one. There are a variety of interesting options and the slices we went with really hit the spot. Be sure to grab their olive oil soft serve while you wait for your pizza. The seating/eating area is a little dicey so you have to be comfortable with that but it didn't really matter in the end.
